Our Program

Our story began decades ago when my granddad introduced miniature donkeys to the farm alongside his commercial Angus cattle. What started as a small addition quickly became a lifelong passion. Over the years, we've carefully selected our breeding stock with the goal of producing healthy, well-built, friendly foals that reflect the quality and values of our program.

In 2021, we expanded our passion by adding miniature cattle, and we have been hooked ever since. We've been fortunate to build our herd with outstanding genetics from respected breeders across the United States. Even more rewarding has been placing our calves and foals with families who have become lifelong friends and valued members of the Flat Rock Minis family.

Every animal born here is handled daily, loved from birth, and raised with the care and attention they deserve. Early socialization is one of our highest priorities, helping ensure they transition confidently into their new homes as affectionate companions or future breeding stock.
